Hello there! In this first installment of our new blog we would like to talk a little about the importance of practice. We learn things by repetition and consistancy. It is not necessary to have long practice sessions to accomplish a goal. Long sessions lead to fatigue and in turn to bad technique or even worse, injuries. It is best to have smaller, daily sessions than one long sessions a week. This is the mindset that we must have as any student approaches their practicing, whether it is for Art, Music, or Martial Arts. If you are the parent of a student, daily encouragement to practice is the key to success in whatever their area of study is in. Anyways, to keep this post short and to the point we will stop here.
